Collected Personal Data

Name, address, telephone number,

Driver record at time of checking (DVLA Check)

When potential customers send enquiries this data is collected and used to process the enquiry. Once an enquiry moves to the next stage a Folder is created and a request is made to complete an initial license check using the gov.uk "Share my License Details" service. An electronic printout of this report is kept on file for the duration the customer is on the waiting list. If the waiting list customer does not continue then the information is deleted at this time. If the enquirer becomes a customer then this record is kept on file.

Once a customer starts learning to drive then a scanned copy of the Terms & Conditions with the customer and instructors signatures and dates signed is also kept on file.

Once a customer passes their test, with their permission, a photograph is taken and used on this site,  on Facebook and Instagram to further promote Iain Gray Driving Instructor (The Wee Red Car).
